Etching
Uglow’s etchings explores the hybridization of machines, animals and plants that occurs in the organization of our modern consumer world. Scientific advances into new ways of engineering and growing meat and crops form a Pandora's box for her imagination. Uglow has won numerous awards and has shown extensively in London, the USA and Canada. Her work is held by the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, Plains Art Museum, North Dakota, Malaspina Printmaking Society, Vancouver and numerous private collections.
